ABSTRACT


Chess is a timeless strategy game where two players compete to checkmate each other's king. Strategically place your pieces on a grid and use your skill and tactics to anticipate and counter your opponent's moves. The first player to checkmate the enemy's king emerges victorious. A classic mix of strategy, logic, and critical thinking awaits!


RULES


  • Setup: Place your pieces on the board according to the starting position. Each player starts with identical pieces in their respective positions.


  • Gameplay: Take turns moving your pieces according to their individual rules and capturing the opponent's pieces.


  • Check and Checkmate: Put the opponent's king under the threat of capture (check) and eliminate any possibility of escape (checkmate).


  • Winning: Continue until you checkmate the opponent's king. The first player to achieve this wins the game.
